Which tube socket or chassis socket do I need as a replacement part for my tube amplifier?
You need to know which tube the socket, correctly called a tube holder, is intended to be used for. If you know the European tube designation, you can use the table as a guide. The first number after the letters indicates the socket type, for example the 8 in ECC82 indicates Noval:
